NEW: UNC-Chapel Hill students say they were kept out of not only the meeting room at today’s Board of Governors meeting on DEI, but also not allowed to enter the building where the meeting was held.

In less than four minutes, the UNC Board of Governors’ university governance committee passed a DEI policy repeal that could result in diversity staff cuts. The change (first reported by Korie Dean) now moves to a full board vote in May.
