In Calais a free shuttle bus runs regularly between the railway station + the ferry terminal. In Dover it’s a 30 minute walk with luggage along a busy dual carriageway. Navigating the port itself is chaotic. Louise Haigh please make it easier to choose not to fly or drive.

As our kids go #BackToSchool, never forget that we ARE the traffic that we’re using as an excuse. If they walked, biked or rode transit to school, it would erase a massive number of car trips each day, and our kids would be safer, healthier and better at school. Spread the word.
