Bute House Agreement was failing to force Ministers to take decisive action to restore the seas.

Parts of Marine Scotland effectively captured by fishing interests.

But post BHA, government will likely attempt to lurch even harder away from restoration.

Really pleased this roll out is continuing apace in Scotland as all councils start their implementation plans.

I’ve campaigned for 20mph for many years. I pushed the national delivery commitment into the Bute House Agreement and will keep the dialogue going with government.
