Important study by Jeanne Marrazzo at #CROI2023 on adherence to TDF/FTC for PrEP among 6296 women (Abst 163). 62 infections (incidence = 0.72/100 py but ⬆️ in < 25). Higher adherence reported than measured but ⬆️ adherence = no infections. ~ 50% did not take consistently.
