Two things resonate with Carl Erskine from sports perspective. Talked with him when I was in Anderson. Carl had trophies on the wall. One was a bat from '53 WS win over Yanks. Struck out 14. The bat had 14 holes drilled in the barrel with each player's name next to it. Classic.

It should be everyone's life goal to make a difference. Carl Eskine's impact on Indiana Special Olympics for son Jimmy can't be measured.
