We were delighted to work with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council & communities in Dundrum & Sandyford on the design of local play spaces. Our task was to gather ideas & insights to inform the concept design - we had creative & positive responses from people of all ages! Full report: bit.ly/dlrPublicConsu…

#LivingStreets Dún Laoghaire passed yesterday by Councillors, 30-7. M-CO were proud to manage the consultation for this Part 8 Pathfinder Project which is an exemplar of local action for healthy communities and climate. Thanks to J.B. Barry and Partners, and to Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council for their leadership.
The design of staff bases in #ourchildrenshospital was greatly informed by Children's Health Ireland staff. Each staff base has a direct viewpoint of its assigned patient rooms and provides a place for multidisciplinary staff to access and update records.

I am very pleased also to see such in-depth engagement with local residents at this early stage. This allows feedback to be taken into account before plans are developed. This is meaningful consultation that I hope to see followed on other Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council initiatives.
Some concerns & great ideas raised that I will include in my own submission and hope that Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council take into account as they develop plans for what will be a very positive local amenity
