Blink and you missed THE WAVERLY WONDERS, debuting OTD in 1978. Broadway Joe Namath was a basketball coach at a fictional Wisconsin high school. Trying for a WHITE SHADOW vibe, it was slaughtered by WONDER WOMAN and DONNY & MARIE, and axed after only three episodes.
