Happy to share my recent Current Opinion in Cell Biology Elsevier CellBiology
What is liver zonation? How do hepatocytes organize their activities in the tissue? And what does cell-cell communication and gradients have to do with it?

Same diagnosis, different outcomes? With a precision medicine approach & spatial proteomics Sonja Kabatnik Matthias Mann Lab now report pathways and marker proteins that stratify risk groups for colorectal carcinoma recurrence. Great work, Sonja! medrxiv.org/content/10.110…
Excited to share our latest research on thorough optimisation of phosphopeptide enrichment parameters that also includes Astral MS #phosphoproteomics data ✨
Thanks to Ana Martinez del Val, Patricia Bortel, Ilaria Piga and Claire Koenig.

A resource on tissue-specific expression of mitochondrial proteins and their phosphosites across the mouse. Congrats, Fynn Hansen @labsmann Division of Molecular Metabolism, KI - great work!
Our mapping of the cellular protein #interactome with unprecedented depth is now published @nature. Leaps in robust #proteomics and analytic workflows enabled us to perform over 4.000 pull-downs in yeast unraveling the social and structural aspects leveraging #alphafold multimer.
This is great science. While sharing an office with André Michaelis I've witnessed how thoroughly André combed through this yeast interactome. Have a look at figure 4. Congratulations!!
Fantastic study bridging proteomics and life-saving clinical application. Congratulations Thierry Nordmann and the entire team!
How does mitochondria sense and control their glutathione levels? Our new work Science Magazine by a fantastic student Yuyang Liu describing a redox metabolite sensing mechanism for mitochondria. Rockefeller University The Mark Foundation for Cancer Research science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…
Excited to announce our lab's first publication, out today Cell Systems.
We are often asked about practical tips and protocols for ultra-low input spatial tissue proteomics. This work summarises key aspects for microscopy + single-cell sensitivity MS 👇bit.ly/3FAHDft
