Busy morning on week 2 of Forest School. (I forgot to take pics last week!) We were cutting back rhododendron as part of woodland management, and making medallions. Relaxing by lying in the hammock, drinking hot chocolate and toasting marshmallows.

Using bushcraft knives to make sticks for cooking apples on the campfire and making s'mores at Forest School.

Another busy morning at Forest School; learning to use a bow saw, making nature picture frames, starting to think about shelter building, and of course the Kelly Kettle for the obligatory hot chocolate.

Some playing on ropes and team challenges today at Forest School. The group worked well together and had lots of fun.

The last session of this block of Forest School. It's been amazing to work with these young people and see the progress they've made. We used tools again today, chilled in the hammock, and made pizza again.
