If Peña makes a fairly routine play, the #Astros would be right in this game. But it’s ok. Seattle is bad and we look totally content with coasting to 85 wins and settling for the Wild Card series.

Down 9-1, Bagwell letting it rip

It probably wasn’t there night anyway. But the game definitely feels a lot different when down 3-0 vs down 9-0 after the 1st inning. The barrage of E6s are concerning though. #Astros

#Astros will give a game back tonight and after the way they played tonight, they deserved it. Lead is 5.5, but you still don’t want to get swept in Cincinnati after that great series against the Royals.

I’d be very curious to know what Altuve’s batting average has been since the All Star Break. He had the walkoff hit last Friday (which was nice), but we’re getting very little production from him right now. The at bats are painful to watch. #Astros

#Astros fans tried to resurrect the narrative of “we just play better on the road”. But that’s actually not true at all this year. In fact, with a loss today they’ll have a .500 road record. Outside of one great trip, they’ve been sloppy and lazy in road games all season.

#Astros fans are getting mad at this guy for pointing out the obvious. The 2024 team isn’t “bad” but they’re very far from being great either. They’re gonna win 86 games and get into the postseason because the rest of their division absolutely reeks. Our weakest team in 8 years

With all due respect man, let’s not compare this team to 2022. That team won 106 games and won the division by 16 games. They aren’t strong enough of a team (and don’t have the depth) to punt an entire series like they just did. #Astros
