Want to learn #metabolomics ? This is a great way to do it, meet similarly minded people 👩🔬, all from the comfort of your laptop! Bursaries available 💰
Whats the physiological relevance? 😭 #massspec #metabolomics #proteomics (the lab is trying its best to Exchange Vacuum Pump and get Back to 'measurement ready') #teamwork
Artificial intelligence for natural product drug discovery | Nature Reviews Drug Discovery - a hugely enjoyable interdisciplinary & international collaborative effort from fantastic discussions during a Lorentz Center workshop in 2021 nature.com/articles/s4157…
Great Seminar today at Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology Lots of Marine #metabolomics from Guy Schleyer and fascinating #naturalproduct Story from Hannah Büttner, both from Hertweck Lab thanks for Sharing your Research with us!
See our new paper on the evolution of symbiosis. Great work of Nancy and Anna and all co-workers MetaorganismResearch

I wrote a small piece for Small Things Considered about what I believe is the next frontier in microbiology. In this short article, I feature Dar Daniel of Weizmann Institute and Manuel Liebeke from the Max Planck Institute Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology.
Wow- what a nice speaker selection, highly recommend this conference on #Microbial Secondary #Metabolites in #Microbiomes incl. Katherine Duncan Dr Laura Sanchez Mônica Pupo The Northen Lab Bradley Moore Riikka Rinnan organized by CeMiSt DTU
Its not always success in science - we did not make the cut off for a grant proposal --> #rejection --> write better and prepare new proposal👇
#Breathing #poison ! Cost us #NO blood but some sweat and tears. Great work by Paloma Garrido Amador!
Just out in Nature Microbiology

They breath poison and reduce the release of climate active #N2 O !🦠
A new study by Paloma Garrido Amador Boran Kartal Nature Microbiology reports on a long-term culture (1500 days and counting!) of 2 new microbes growing on #nitricoxide , reducing it completely to #N2 .
