I just watched on Instagram Live hordes of police descend on my alma mater, Emerson College, to arrest students who were peacefully protesting genocide. They pushed students who fell to the ground and threatened legal observers with arrest. This was the City of Boston’s decision

Having the police beat and arrest over 100 students peacefully protesting the bombardment of Gaza by staging a tent encampment in a city-managed *alleyway* is an absurd use of force and resources. The Wu administration needs to answer for what happened at Emerson last night.
