So sad to learn of the passing of Joe Pelligrino. Joe was a good friend and a wonderful sports anchor at channels 6 and 10. Joe also served as a midday host during the early days of WIP’s sports talk format. Joe was truly a wonderful person.

Best wishes to Fletcher Cox on his retirement. Fletch was certainly one of the Eagles’ best defensive linemen of all time.
Off the field he was mild mannered and easy to be around. He was always there to help his teammates.

Jason Kelce retired at the right time. He has carved his place among the best and most successful athletes in Philadelphia history. He will be a success in whichever endeavor he pursues.

Great Super Bowl. Mahomes ability to make plays with the game on the line is unmatched.

Very disappointed that Eric Allen wasn’t named to the NFL Hall of Fame this year. He ranks with the best DBs in football history. Nobody displayed greater athleticism and conducted himself with more class.

A sad ending to a season that started with so much promise and ended with so many questions. Who knows what this off season will bring. Thank you for being such great fans.

This was so hard to take. I hate to do a broadcast full of negatives about the Birds but there were no silver linings to point out in this one. Yes the backups played with heart in the second half but by then it was over. I’ll fill my glass halfway and hope for the best in Tampa.

This was a devastating loss. The Eagles defense is totally ineffective. I came into this game optimistic. Felt good at halftime with a 21-6 lead and then crash. You can understand losing to the 49ers or to Dallas on the road but to lose to the 3-12 Cardinals is just awful.

I’m thrilled that Eric Allen’s a finalist for the HOF. This is long overdue. He was a superb player and he’s a wonderful person.

I’m happy that the losing streak is over and that the Eagles finally nailed down win number 11. They made their share of impressive plays but there are still areas of real concern. Number one is the turnovers. This game should have been a rout but turnovers kept the Giants in it

It was a tough loss. But did anyone expect the Eagles to go through this stretch of six games without a loss? It hurts more because they played poorly and were routed. It also makes this week’s game in Dallas even more important.
Their resiliency gives me confidence.

This is a tough game. Probably the two best teams in the NFL. I just heard a network promo calling it a revenge game for the 49ers.Nonsense. The Eagles win in Kansas City was terrific but it hardly made up for the Super Bowl loss. Only a playoff meeting could carry revenge.

In all of the years I’ve broadcast Eagles football I’ve seen some very good teams but I don’t know that I’ve seen one with the resilience that this team displays. This was a truly remarkable win. The fans who hung in until the end in this miserable weather deserve game balls.

Happy Thanksgiving to the best fans in the NFL! What a terrific season this has been. Led by the front office, the coaches, their great quarterback and all the players the Eagles are truly one of the “elite” teams in the NFL.

Thrilled to see that the Eagles and WIP have extended their contract through 2028. There’s not a better organization in football and a station I’m prouder to be a part of than WIP.
I plan to stay forever!

Every win in the NFL is big unless key injuries occurs. The Eagles showed what they’re made of the way they bounced back against the Commanders. Going 7-1 is no small thing.
Still the turnovers are concerning. They simply have to fix this tendency and create more takeaways.
