Oh for heavens sake. A nursing apprenticeship is still a degree. Virtually identical to normal UG degree but funded by the employer via the levy rather than by the student. It is still a University programme for a degree educated profession

Wow this is eye opening, I thought I was fully aware of the differences in pay banding across the country after reading 🧵’s here, but it’s so much worse than I thought. When neighbouring trusts scale the same job so differently no wonder recruitment and retention is a huge issue

Am I missing something Jeremy Hunt? Who is going to train, supervise and assess all of these people? Surely If you increase capacity at uni level, more people need to work in the uni and then less are working in clinical practice so you have less supervisors than we have now🤷🏻‍♀️
