“Social Housing providers received only £200mill through the building safety fund' compared to £2bill granted to private building owners.

Housing associations & their tenants shouldn’t have to foot the bill for remediation works. We need more funding to make these homes safe.

Good to see these proposals, particularly the focus on affordable homes.

Building on brownfield land alone will not deliver enough homes to fix the housing crisis, so it’s right to consider how our approach to the green belt can better serve our country and our communities.

It’s right to look at how green belt land can better serve our communities & boost supply of affordable housing.

A considered & strategic approach to building on the green belt alongside a long-term is vital to delivering enough homes to solve the housing crisis.

Today we launch new research on how much we will need by 2040. It shows supply is not meeting demand.

Without a long-term plan for supported housing, 1000s of people could go without the support they need.
