Today, Mayor Lawson attended the Associated General Contractors of Nevada launch of the “Respect the Cone, My Family Needs Me Home” campaign to increase awareness and foster a culture of safety in work zones.

Today, I joined Nevada Chapter AGC and Nevada DOT in Sparks to kick off the AGC’s “Respect the Cone: My family needs me home” initiative. This initiative highlights the importance of slowing down in work zones, so that we can protect those behind the cones.

It’s easy: Respect the Cone.

Today, we joined Governor Joe Lombardo, the Nevada Chapter of Associated General Contractors, RTC Washoe and others in calling on our community to help save the lives of our road construction workers.
