So… 4 weeks ago I had a cardiac arrest. It happened while playing football and my teammates straight away did cpr and used the defib. I’m fit and well and owe it all to them.

Thanks Kamila Hawthorne for supporting the RSC in the weekly @RCGP update. Fantastic GPs colleagues share pseudonymised data, this week is our largest ever (>15 million). However, we need more virology samples, 1,000 per week. Interested contact [email protected]

The RSC is still seeing a week-on-week rise in COVID-19, though levels remain low. Please can RSC practices RCGP ORCHID redouble their efforts to take virology samples this summer so we and UK Health Security Agency can better understand the pattern of infection and spread.
