🚨NEW: I spoke to a Kurdish mother who was separated from her two children, aged 5 and 9, while attempting to cross the Channel by small boat. She and her husband have called on the Home Office to allow them urgent entry to the UK. Very sad to report. theguardian.com/uk-news/2024/s…
