T-DXd is the premier ADC for the treatment of pts with HER2+ MBC BrMs.

The analysis underscores the pressing need to investigate T-DXd in HER2-low BrMs, active HER2+ BrMs across solid tumors, and LMD.
We suggest default inclusion of pts with BrMs into clinical trials of ADCs.

Research gives tangible hope and the possibility of new treatment options. I’m so grateful for the incredible support of Jen Feinberg and others for pushing forward work focused on metastatic breast cancer, including the huge challenge of brain metastases.

Given the recent FDA accelerated approval of TDXd for advanced HER2 pos solid tumors, recognizing and managing TDXd induced ILD is increasingly relevant. And patient education is also critical!

I’ve been struck by how differently we tx extracranial vs intracranial oligoPD. We default to SRS all the time for oligoPD in brain mets but not extracranial mets. And the reverse - we can be slow to defer RT in favor of switching systemic tx at times of high brain met velocity
