I never had a concern that the Grenfell Inquiry would reach these conclusions and be this damning. What matters now is what the government and police do about it. Over to you Keir Starmer #Grenfell

Michael Volpe OBE (@noisymv) 's Twitter Profile Photo

If you are a The Labour Party MP who left the house before Starmer's statement on Grenfell you are a disgrace and should be ashamed. To show such a lack of respect to the dead on the day a report detailing the failings that killed them is reprehensible... ๐Ÿคจ

MPs on both sides of the House of Commons leave before the PM statement on the Grenfell Inquiry findings: They didnโ€™t care before the fire. They donโ€™t care after the fire. Each MP who left should be made to face the Grenfell survivors in person.

It comes as no surprise that the House emptied just hours after the judge announced the publication of the phase 2 report. It shows how many of those within the political elite are a part of the disregard, indifference and incompetence that contributed to the deaths of our 72.

It is horrendous that the house is so empty for a debate about an issue such as Grenfell, with the Prime Minister taking questions. Absolutely breathtaking. Can ANY MP who left give me a good reason why??

Was putting Marmite on my toast this morning and that final stringy thing that falls off the knife randomly created this. It could be a logo.

This is the first sign that Labour are going to try to walk the delicate line between deregulation and appeasing developers. Angela Rayner should have said - "no, many people are not safe, and we will be bringing forward measures to force remediation immediately." Very worrying.

A reminder of Lord Pickles' evidence to the Grenfell Inquiry from the time. Yesterday's report rejected his evidence that the deregulation drive he enthusiastically supported didn't play a role in the missed opportunities, saying this was "flatly contradicted" by other evidence

Avoid caricaturists on tourist strips. I once sat for one in Florence. It was fairly ordinary and not hugely unkind, but he drew a small hair poking from my nostril and I have never recovered.

Thomas Birley is jailed for nine years for his part in the Rotherham terror attack on an asylum hotel. The charge was arson with intent to endanger life. Staff hiding in a panic room thought theyโ€™d burn to death. Take that you racist piece of shit. theguardian.com/uk-news/articlโ€ฆ

Just look at the absolutely horrifyingly ignorant and stupid replies to this inflammatory post โ€˜Long grassโ€™ ๐Ÿ™„

Well 'Rebel Ridge' was well worth the wait Jeremy Saulnier Ratcheting tension and yet still one of your less violent films Layered in so many ways - will watch it again on my trip tomorrow. 'Don't drink the public water' was a great gag btw.

I think this kind of lying and incitement should be investigated. All of those jailed had pleaded guilty - they could have pleaded not guilty. This bloke is trying to convince people that Jones had has some kind of special privilege by being 'allowed' to plead not guilty.
