Quite the difference between forecast rainfall this morning vs how the radar looks currently at 9 am. Not that I’m complaining mind as the sun is out and it’s a decent morning. Met Office

Bit unlucky for those in the North of the region this afternoon. Temperatures struggling to get into double digits under that muck off the North Sea.

This was the forecast rainfall from the Arome from yesterdays 6z run. Shows 6mm for here but ended up with 27mm. Even the Met Office chart from yesterday showed 5-10mm.

Coldest places across #NorthYorkshire overnight. Sleddale proving to be one hell of a frost hollow.

NorthYorksWeather 12.8mm from my weather station here in the area around selby. The highest daily total since frebruary. Plunged from 12c to 6 at 3pm! I imagine it’s convergence from the humber
