why the math is bad; i am counting red cars but i am bad at colours. of the 20 red cars I counted 5 were actually a dark pink. if I now multiply this up to the population of a town ie 20,000 the error has increased from 5 wrongly counted cars to 5,000 wrongly counted cars.
