Today we remember our Father Lt.Col.I.W.Lloyd-Jones M.C RWF who landed with the Reconnaissance Reg at D-Day +1. He fought his way to Germany where he was awarded the M.C for an action on 18 April 1945.  He then saw service in Korea M.I.D, Malaya & Congo. Never forgotten.

Parents are responsible for their children U16. If a child is caught riding on an e scooter then both the rider & their parents face fines & points on their driving licences. U16’s can have their points deferred until they are old enough to apply for a driving licence.

In 2023, 272 people, other than the rider were injured in collisions involving e scooters. 181 of these were pedestrians walking on the pavement. 96 suffered multiple broken bones / fractures as a result. There have also been reports of dogs being hit & killed whilst out walking

In 2023, 83 Horse Slow boards were distributed free of charge to 67 yards, stables & liveries across Warwickshire to advise drivers of the change in the Highway Code when overtaking horses. In the same year we have seen a reduction of 36 collision & near miss reports.
