I'm in the midst of a particularly bad pain flare up atm. I'm trying to remain upbeat and positive, but it's draining the good out of me. Have a CT scan and pain management doctor tomorrow.

Pain flare up due to nerve damage caused by scaring that occurred during surgery when they were connecting my stomach muscles back together. Just got 8 botox injections into the stomach muscles and a cream to rub on it. Onwards and upwards 👊

People don’t understand the fear that chronically ill people have of getting worse. It could happen at any point. We are always on our toes wondering which new symptom or which flare could be the turning point.

The anxiety of having to ring the doctors for my opioid pain relief prescription is off the chart. Should have got 28, only got prescribed 8. Have to go through it all again Monday. We should NOT have to feel this way to NOT be in pain. #ChronicPain #ChronicIllness
