I was at the #Petersburg2024 dialogue in Berlin yesterday. Climate ministers & envoys, including ⁦Jennifer Morgan⁩ from Germany, came together to consider how we will raise the $5 trillion needed to be spent each year on the clean energy transition, to stop climate change.

German economy Minister Robert Habeck argued that future economic development will go to those areas that have access to renewable energy. The old argument that environmental protection runs counter to economic development no longer applies. #Petersberg2024
