Excited to spotlight the innovative work of Redalyc! We just posted a news story about its organic rise as a model of diamond . It embraces science as a public good that should be free – and freely shared. Click here for more:sparcopen.org/news/2024/less…

The new 'journal will be “diamond” open-access, meaning it will be free for readers to read and for authors to publish in. The Open Library of Humanities—which is funded by more than 340 libraries and based at Birkbeck, part of the University of London—plans to publish it' 🙌

Just six short years after contributing to the conference that preceded this special collection, I'm very happy to finally see my ideas on Moore's Family Group in print via Open Library of Humanities.

The winds of change are blowing on the editorial boards of leading academic journals, whose commercial publishers have benefitted handsomely from free academic labour for decades. Good move by Philosophy & Public Affairs - a standard-bearer in the field.

I'm so delighted with the new journal sites - genuinely dynamic and allow our university press to compete with other academic publishers. Here's a great example - HERJ has a blog page, allowing authors to write conversationally about their research.
