The Royal College of Surgeons of England Women in Surgery ASiT ‘If I can make it so can everyone in this room’ is an example of survivor bias. Everyones challenges are different. Support, encouragement and mentorship are useful. Survivorship bias isn't. Where are the stories of those who didn't make it, and what can we learn from them?
