I have spent my day reading through the Grenfell Inquiry. I am so heartbroken and so enraged. I want to ask everyone and a friend to not just push for justice for Grenfell but also speak to your MP about carpets. Many 'acrylic'/synthetic carpets are made of polyethylene.

That is like putting Grenfell cladding on your main fire escape. My dad's carpets are 70% polyethylene for example, his small landlord, lovely women, she went for 'stain resistant, anti-moth, durable' not 'ultra flammable death trap', I'm sure.
