The official blog, Apache DataFusion is now a top level Apache project! arrow.apache.org/blog/2024/05/0…. It's going to be a foundational building block of many analytic and data systems for many years to come. The future data stack will be composable and DataFusion is a key component.

It was great geeking out on the The Data Stack Show discussing challenges with time series, and how InfluxData handles them, and (natch) ApacheDataFusion and what it enables. Kudos to ericdodds and Kostas Pardalis for making it easy. Pleasantly surprised by the quotes. 💯

This hits on a practice I’ve always recommended to people: build a list of actionable tasks, offline download the resources you need, and utilize poor internet situations as a place of extreme focus.
