The amazing rise in U.S. wine imports has been dwarfed by the imports of #spirits . In absolute levels, 2022 spirits imports are worth $12.6b -- compare to $7.3b for wine and $6.7b for beer. The 2005-2022 CAGR for spirits was 6.5%, much higher than for #wine (4.0%) & #beer (4.7%).

Q9. Opened my 2017 Fort Berens Red Gold magnum for dinner with friends last weekend. Pretty nice drop o' red and would highly recommend. They've done a good job with this every year so far

Q4 - 50%!!! you betcha it would impact. A couple of wineries did that last year - but with good reasons. No reason for an industry across the board increase of that magnitude in one fell swoop. Might be up 50% over 5 years
