With the eroding bluff along Nantucket's eastern shoreline claiming more of its property each year, the Sankaty Head Golf Club filed a demolition permit on April 22 for its Sankaty Head Beach Club at the end of Hoicks Hollow Road.

Meet Cheng “Charlie” Saephan, a lu-Mien immigrant from Laos who is battling cancer.

He is also the winner of the $1.3 billion Powerball jackpot. Saephan says the win has changed his life, and he will split the millions (after taxes) with his wife and a friend.
