What a productive day with the ongoing #Mpox Diagnostic and Sequencing training held at Institut National de Recherche Biomédicale (INRB) in collaboration with Africa CDC. The teams interpreted RT-PCR results, quantified, normalized, prepared libraries and, loaded onto the two Illumina and Oxford Nanopore platforms.

Culmen has been supporting the Mpox outbreak response in Democratic Republic of Congo. We have delivered 1,000 kits for sample collection to North Kivu and provided lab technicians in Goma and laboratory support across DRC as part of a holistic approach for detection of the virus
