Muslin with cutwork decoration, silk ribbon. Machine woven and hand sewn.
Would have been worn over a silk underdress, probably of a bright colour.

There are very few artefacts associated with Anne of Cleves. However, visitors to the Castle are able to see this rare wooden panel in the Long Gallery. It is one of only two panels to exist, excluding the ones in the church, and is the only one which is privately owned. 1/2
