There are very few artefacts associated with Anne of Cleves. However, visitors to the Castle are able to see this rare wooden panel in the Long Gallery. It is one of only two panels to exist, excluding the ones in the church, and is the only one which is privately owned. 1/2

Draw back the tapestry and there's a young lady at the clavicord, in 1665. As painted by Gerrit Dou, fine painter of Leiden, whose birthday we are celebrating.

This is Trigger, aka The Dogfather. After 39 litters and 323 puppies, he's officially retiring. He worked for 7 years with @GuideDogs UK, helping people with vision loss gain independence. His record litter in 2021 had 16 puppies, and his last one had five girls and a boy. 15/10
