❄️ Those with decision-making power need to recognise migrants as skilled individuals and equals.
❄️Consultation is not participation. Co-creation is.
❄️ Participation starts with trust - which needs to be built at all ages.

We are in Stuttgart, Germany, today for the SHAPE project's Pan-European Conference on 'Strengthening Participatory Governance of Migration and Integration Policies'.🌐

We're using these last weeks of 2023 to brainstorm what more we can do together with migrant communities, cities and researchers to promote participation and inclusion. 🌱
