We are awed by writers like Robin Myers, who have not only withdrawn their work from the 2024 PEN Awards, but are using that platform to fundraise for Palestinian writers like Nadine Murtaja, a 21-year old Gazan poet.
Please support small, indie publishers such as Butcher's Dog Publishing , a non-profit magazine run by the poet Dr Jo Clement with nothing but the support of poets and poetry at its core.

Butcher’s Dog is one of the best print magazines on the UK poetry scene, and Dr Jo Clement is an incredible editor. I am genuinely baffled as to why anyone would choose cynicism over admiration when it comes to the output and workings of such a vital magazine Butcher's Dog Publishing
