Imagine having a PM fighting to end this terrible situation rather than exploiting Channel crossings for populist gain.

Rwanda plan won’t work. It’ll be a failed piece of legislation by a failed government drenched in populist desperation.
But now frightened & vulnerable people will have to enact the performance because that’s how performative cruelty works.
