42 days after sowing and we have roots at 40cm, any bets on what depth they'll reach by the end of the season?

Very happy with Callum Wesley's LRPB Dual sown early April in Southern Cross, WA.
This Long Coleoptile wheat gave Callum the confidence to chase moisture early & is on 850ha of his farm. It has established well on livestock compacted heavy soils, even from depths of 100mm!
Great morning with Felicity showing Greg and Paul from CSIRO around the Charles Sturt University Rhizolysimeter. I've had 2 years of being asked how late sown, 100 day wheat roots behave in the field, time to find out! Felicity Harris Greg Rebetzke GRDC Gulbali Institute InterGrain

Excited to work with POGP funding for my Master’s project looking at ability of #oats to emerge from #deepsowing !
Oats sown at 100 mm on the left vs 30 mm. #Mesocotyl is an extension of #coleoptile , where oats is the only #cereal to have it 👀🌱
