Today was my first day City & State NY! So thrilled to be joining this amazing team (and boy, it is quite the time in NYC politics to be coming aboard). DM me for new email.
Hell yes: Hell Gate *subscribe today!* sued City Hall… and won! A judge just ordered the Adams administration to search for and turn over the records we’ve been asking for for two years. Also they have to pay our lawyers for all the time their obstruction has cost. hellgatenyc.com/hell-gate-wins…
My name is Fabiola, and I’m an unpaid volunteer with Transportation Alternatives and Families for Safe Streets. My son Bryan was killed by a reckless truck driver when he was only five years old, and I’ve dedicated much of my life to ensuring no other family has to feel this pain.

This morning, between 5th and 1st Avenues, I observed no fewer than 11 cars, 3 box trucks, and 2 school buses illegally parked in the East 62nd Street #bikeNYC lane. The NYPD’s response to this ongoing issue? 'Please stop submitting complaints through New York City 311.' 🤦♂️
PLEASE ask about the many ghost cars driven by NYC employees and parked daily outside city precincts, firehouses, hospitals, etc. placard corruption Gersh Kuntzman
.Governor Kathy Hochul has sabotaged the next MTA capital program before it even starts
For two years now Mayor Eric Adams Eric Adams has been claiming to tackle this issue and for two years it’s gotten worse because NYPD allows it. You can report a ghost car parked directly outside of an NYPD precinct and they’ll ignore it because it’s one of their personal vehicles.
This is dead-on from Donovan Richards Jr.. From Riverdale to Rockaway, we should not assume that the people with the most free time on their hands represent the will, fervor, or interests of the majority when it comes to housing or any of the other major issues our city faces
