T.J. McConnell stays ready, knows his role and plays hard regardless if he gets 2 minutes or 20 minutes as his effort, activity, defense, make others better and leadership never change. Also, first one off the bench to greet a teammate and first one on the floor for a loose ball

P.J. Washington continues to make a big impact as he's shooting the ball with confidence and when defenders close he's gotten to the rim also making himself a weapon by moving without the ball which led to good looks and here he runs the floor hard and gets rewarded .Stay engaged

Tough loss for the Knicks but Donte continues to play great ball. I don't generally retweet myself but in 2018 I tweeted this out of the draft. Donte does everything you ask and more along with never cheating you of effort like most of Jay Wright's players

Donte DiVincenzo can really shoot the ball and he makes himself even tougher by catching in triple threat, understands how to move without the ball, use curls/screens with quick release. Also, can take you off the bounce which opens his jumper more and overplay him and he backdoors u

Chet Holmgren has a real nice skillset, good motor and watch how many shots he not only alters but when he blocks a shot he usually keeps it in bounds rather than spike it into the stands which allows the Thunder to get in the transition game

Former Jay Wright players understand the use of fundamentals, they defend, find the open man, compete but what Jalen Brunson,Josh Hart and Donte also bring are skills you can't teach in toughness, fearlessness and the willingness to always do more and never relent or quit.

Isaiah Hartenstein knows his role and if he seems to be in the right position at the right time it's no accident. It starts with his effort, work on both backboards, sets screens, finds the open man, outworks you and defends.Plays to his strengths, always engaged and just competes

Shooting the ball is a tremendous skillset and so are understanding how to utilize screens and move without the ball which Donte DiVincenzo does. Put your defender at your mercy

Lu Dort does what most don't want to do and that's to defend the entire possession whether that's hedging over screens, denying you the ball, welcoming physicality, beating you to the spot while making you earn everything and you don't have to run anything for him to stay engaged

Create you own opportunities. Chet Holmgren does that by running the floor hard, taking no play for granted which puts him in position for an easy dunk. Put yourself in position to succeed by staying engaged and playing hard through every possession

The Timberwolves set the tone early by getting into and after it defensively, brought physicality, great communication, rotation, defended the entire possession while everyone that stepped on the floor for them was committed and they made the Nuggets earn everything.Big time effort

Can't tweet it enough.Josh Hart puts himself not finds himself in position that results in winning plays with his relentless pursuit. He outworks all on the glass, every 50/50 ball belongs to him, defends, fearless going to the rim and just wants it more. Plays for the name on front

Josh Hart takes no play for granted and like most former Jay Wright players he uses fundamentals.First he catches in triple threat, use of shot fake then uses pivot foot and finishes then uses a jab step and hits a 3 and then uses the rim to protect himself against a shot blocker

Kevin McHale put on a clinic in the low post.He always had a plan,he established good position, recognized and feels how his defender is playing him, usually one dribble then into his drop step, baby hook,up and under. Also, great use of shot fakes, pivot foot and you were at his mercy

Donovan Mitchell stayed confident, played to his strengths, stayed in attack mode and got in the lane, got to the line along with some penetrate and kicks like one that led to the Garland 3 who needed something to fall. Donovan took over the game with his play, will and leadership

Anthony Edwards has off the charts athleticism, strength a big time skillset but what he also does is dictate where he wants to get by always staying in attack mode which keeps his defender at his mercy. Also confident, killer instinct, fearless and he gets after it on the other end

Anthony Edwards has unreal athleticism, big time skillset and strength but he's utilizing fundamentals which makes him even tougher to guard. Here he does a good job catching in triple threat, use of shot fake as defenders need to close with his improved jumper and finishes in lane

The defensive possession shouldn't end until you put your ass on someone and rebound the basketball.2nd chance opportunities hurt in so many ways and sometimes can also be a teams best offense at times.

Josh Hart puts himself not finds himself in position to make winning plays not with a 40+vertical to rebound but with effort and will, gets 50/50 balls because he wants it more, causes deflections with activity and defends with big time pride. Also, hits big shots as he's fearless

Josh Hart only plays one way and his will to beat you on the offensive glass creates 2nd chance opportunities which leads to this OG 3 ball
