It’s International Day to End Violence against Women today - seems relevant to talk about an exhibition of work we showed in #haddington 7 years ago that looked at the #eastlothianwitchhunts in the year #1661, the start of the “Great Scottish Witch-hunt”.

We decided to name that business Raven Botanicals as we were brought up with #corvids . If you don’t follow us, here’s a story we shared earlier in the week about our geriatric Jackdaw.

Another of the projects at #elch I wanted to talk about this week was Alicia Bruce’s Orchard project. She documented the last fruiting of the orchard at #herdmanflathospital before it was vacated. Her images are in the atrium and entrance to #mentalhealth outpatients.

We’ve been so happy to install this brilliant range of works by Alex Allan who worked closely with the #physiotherapy team at #elch to make sculptures that will be used for physical rehab programmes!

Here’s one of my favourite projects at East Lothian Community Hospital - the Sanctuary space, beautifully designed by @lippi with cloud-like artworks by local ceramicist #charlottecadzow 💛

Has anyone seen the beautiful Sanctuary at East Lothian Community Hospital? We worked with artist Lindsay Perth to create this beautiful place for people to be able to escape to for some peace. This is part of the work funded by @ELHFfunds.
