It didn't get the same level of attention but I think the OTHER report in the latest MMWR cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/7… is quite informative on the efficacy of vaccination against Delta and the need to fine tune our messaging

Ontario now has 6 days of data showing cases and hospitalization by vaccine status — so far showing a consistent result.

This data needs a pop. adjustment, at minimum, so here's that.

(It also very much needs age data, which would most likely widen the pop. adjusted gap.)

In the USA, >90% of cases are delta (covariants.org/per-country).

Yet in 24 states w data, <2% of these cases are in people who are fully vax'd (bit.ly/37g8VGF).

Hard to argue w those numbers.
