Markus with supporters in his home town, Keswick, this evening. He’s a lucky man. Not many prospective MPs can combine canvassing with a glorious view like this at the end of the street in their constituencies Markus Campbell-Savours

I could have entered the marathon with all the walking I’ve been doing this week! Leaflet and postal voter letter delivery must be great exercise. Almost 26 miles in 4 days and approx 2,500 leaflets!!

Single biggest thing government could do to reduce number of economically inactive people who are long-term sick is sort out our mental health services.

Two million people in England are on NHS mental health waiting lists. theguardian.com/politics/2024/…

Here in Norfolk we have the worst mental health service in the country. Can any Conservaive MP or Councillor please explain why? How are people supposed to get the help they need in order to get back to work?
This is 'blame everyone else' b******s from a govt running out of time

In South Milford and Tadcaster to meet with residents who set up a task force to combat the very real threat of flooding in their community.

Great to join Steve Reed and Keir Mather MP to discuss Labour’s plans to implement a Flood Resilient Taskforce to support areas just like

As the election approaches, I see Tory PPCs blaming councils for potholes as it’s a good message on the doorstep.

In 2022/23, there was an estimated shortfall of almost £1billion in the road maintenance budget in the UK.

The AIA found that it would take £12billion and 11 years

The Conservatives have let down our local farming community.

I’ll always have their back, and a The Labour Party government will put them at the heart of our vision for countryside renewal 👇

As a measure of how toxic the brand is right now, Anthony Browne MP’s latest propaganda leaflet doesn’t use the word “Conservative”, not even on the imprint or the logo. A deliberate choice. When even sitting MPs are embarrassed to be Conservatives you know the game is up.

Great to catch up with Central Bedfordshire Council’s youth work team this afternoon to discuss their work with care leavers and CBC’s youth Parliament, and how I can best support it as our MP!

Really good to meet local farmers and members of National Farmers' Union this morning. Lots to discuss and I’ll be posting more thoughts soon. But in short, I’d always been clear that my police and crime plan would include a focus on rural crime. And today has absolutely reinforced that.
