The long ball was working today and got us past a good scrappy team in Alcorn Central. We will await the winner of the Nettleton and East Webster series that kicks off tonight.

Central got a run on a bloop single and thought they had the tying run one batter later, but a bizarre play saved the Troopers.

Mooreville leads the series (1-0)
