Just back from a trip to Porto where we also had a trip up the beautiful Durao Valley. Lovely to get away from the rain! Must say I am a big fan of Portugal. People are friendly, drinks and food are great...and it isn't going to cost you a fortune for a few days away.

A mega weekend of football started with my daughter's team having a good win yesterday morning, then off to Wembley Stadium to watch England lose to Brazil. Today we went to watch AFC Wimbledon Women (C) 🏆 convincingly beat Cambridge City. Now we are at Villa Park watching the #WSL

Sporting weekend watching with a bit of #WSL action on Friday night. Cracking atmosphere at Stamford Bridge then back in MK watching National Cup Champions Milton Keynes Breakers Basketball Club with a convincing win for their final home league game of the season. Did miss out on daughter's ⚽ though!

To me this guy was a founding father of Ice Hockey in MK. As a teenager he was mine (and many other similar aged hockey fans) hero for the MK Kings who constantly punched above their weight. RIP Hot Shot Paddy Scott, you won't be forgotten!🏒
