I find the Apple external trackpad much harder to use than the trackpad on my MBP, I guess there's just enough latency to make it annoying.

Is there any alternative 3rd party trackpad that's better?

inline-snapshots is one of those 'use it and weep' packages.

I shudder to think of the time I've wasted over the years updating tests.

One thing I'll say about Python's packaging system, the lack of a widespread solution for pinning means new releases get adopted almost instantly.

Pydantic v2.7 is 2 days old, and it's already the most downloaded version in that time.

Better partial streaming, hopefully in the future we can get OpenAI and Anthropic to both support this directly??

Pydantic v2.7 is probably the most important release of Pydantic since V2 - (another) big jump in performance, a major step forward in processing the output of LLMs, and more...

Arc is awesome, if you're starting a company, you should definitely consider it.

In particular, I think the Hair on fire vs. hard facts vs. future vision way of thinking is really helpful.

You can see the future of Python package documentation by looking at @Pydantic.

You can explore the code, run it, and experiment with runnable samples all from your browser. I'm still stunned every time I see this.

We should all work towards this, it's going to be amazing.

Pydantic V2.7 is going to be biggest release since V2.

Here's some of the best bits:
๐Ÿš€ roughly 50% performance improvements due to the PyO3 work from David Hewitt, SIMD JSON parsing and some associated cleanup
๐Ÿซธ Partial JSON parsing support, specifically to support

PyO3 0.21 was released last week, unlocking the performance opportunities of the new API to all Rust/Python projects based on it. I'm looking forward to hearing how adoption goes!
