Super excited to see our paper out Nature Communications rdcu.be/b4Wx2. We combined a ground-based remote sensing approach with in-plume measurements using an aerial platform to calculate gas compositions and amounts from specific vents. Thanks to a great team!
Simultaneous aerial and ground-based measurements now allow us to determine vent-specific volatile fluxes at multi-vent systems. In this study led by Tom Pering we apply this strategy at Stromboli. Delighted to see our paper out in print in Nature Communications! nature.com/articles/s4146…
