Sorry Neil, it’s not nonsense. The session was underway. An expert panel member had spoken in serious terms about dementia and hope for the future. You checked your phone and said you were trying to buy Oasis tickets ‘on multiple devices’, and added ‘I hope I get these tickets’.

💥Even as Neil Gray u-turns and admits our story was true, he continues to mislead… He says “my phone was in my pocket” - that is not the case. His phone was in his hand and he was looking at it as he told the meeting he was in the queue for Oasis tickets .

I think John Swinney should put Neil Gray first and protect him, despite his unsuitability for the position of Health Secretary. Voters loved it when Humza Yousaf did that for Michael Matheson.

hard to see how any journalist can trust the Health Secretary’s answers on anything now. If he’s willing to smear the Pol Ed of the Sunday Mail over a story that was completely accurate, what else will he say?

This is a good program for growth. It’s shamelessly ripping off what Labour are doing but imitation is the sincerest form etc. Interesting that there is a big investment in renewables, but why, we’re at capacity in Scotland… unless it’s to export it at profit.

ScotFax (@scotfax) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Maybe a nationalist can explain to me why we are investing in renewables seeing as ‘we are apparently at capacity and England is just stealing the excess’?

Martin J Keatings 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 If we’re plucking numbers out of thin air - if we’d voted Yes in 2014: unemployment would be zero NHS waiting lists would be gone Schools would be world-leading We’d all have a golden unicorn And the President of Scotland would have ended wars and famine. Right?

Angus B MacNeil 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 “And independence best” So independence moved Scotland automatically from a 10% GDP deficit to a 2% surplus. Wow! How does that happen? Is it something to do with “tools” and “levers”?

For the slow of thinking this poster was AFTER the 2014 referendum. “Still Yes” did not start until waaaaaaaay after the referendum. It’s remarkable that no one at @scotnational could see that.

The idea that Scotland is unique in all of the world and is an area that cannot have a deficit or surplus is a bizarre understanding of basic maths. This is next to impossible.

Tony Newnham Angus B MacNeil 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 1. Rejoining SM - 8%GDP due to loss of main UK market frictionless access 2. Decreased GDP ~3% 3. Debt default - 10% GDP 4. 2% (NATO - current spend. No saving. Well you’ve just shown we’d be much much poorer than GERS well played.

You have to wonder what the SNP’s position is on ‘mitigation’. Arguing that it’s unfair that taxes go up in Scotland to pay higher welfare in Scotland begs a simple question. If Scots aren’t paying for Scottish higher welfare are we expecting the English to pay for it?
