Congratulations to the new Regimental Sergeant Major of the 1st Battalion Scots Guards. WO1 Nigel Heron has taken on the role from WO1 Lee Paxton. As the Battalion welcomes Sergeant Major Heron into the role we say a huge thank you to WO1 Paxton for his time in post.

B Company, out in Estonia as part of the #NATOGBEST , have been practising their urban fighting skills and drills. This, on top of their role as a dedicated anti-tank company, further widens their skillset making them a truly formidable asset!!!

Our Pipers and Drummers are a huge part of our identity as the Scots Guards. Some fantastic pictures of LSgt Light and LCpl Grant performing in the Guards Chapel alongside the Band of the Scots Guards for their annual Burns’ Concert.

Roland Walker, Billy Botes, James Tate and Max Lawrence have rowed the Atlantic. The team crossed the finish line in Antigua in a time of 39 days, 2 hours and 59 minutes with Roland piping them all the way in. So far they have raised almost £40,000 for ABF The Soldiers' Charity.

The Atlantic Guardsmen team are doing so well, 12th in their class and smashing it!!!

EXERCISE FROSTED BLADE is the Infantry Alpine Skiing Competition and is a fantastic opportunity for veteran and novice skiiers to push themselves to the limit and have a fantastic experience to boot. Watch this space for a video of LSgt Light playing the bagpipes while skiing!!!
