Emotions running high - in and out of the ground - tonight. Experiment with three at the back failed fairly spectacularly against a good side and fans are, understandably, frustrated. Think Sarll will revert back to what he knows now, to the approach that saw Pools start so well.

Stuart Blackett Darren Rickerby BBC Sport Tees Rob Law It's an abundantly clear to all barring Sarll that this tactic of looking for second balls isn't working. It's stifling and quite frankly disrespectful to some of our better players. There's a team with potential to be built there, but we may as well have signed 11 off the rec.

The fans made their feelings known to Sarll at full time.... Not seen anything like that since Dave Jones was sent packing at home to Barnet many years ago, that was absolutely toxic. No way Sarll survives this. Just get rid now Hartlepool United FC

Rob Law very surprised there is no after match interview, I don’t think it’s good for Sarll, I have tired to not call for him to go, but tonight the players looked lost, and no idea what to do, and Sarll looked on in desperation, thrown 5 up front, I can’t see any way back

Daniel Pete Wild turned down the Blackpool job recently, we would be come near our basket case of a club? I mean I’d take anyone other than Sarll but let’s be realistic here.

Hartlepool United FC Raj will save us. Maybe give Sarll the season, club bankrupt Singh, go into Administration, Trust take over with backers, we go again.

tomhwilliams23 The only time we’ve looked somewhat good is when Mancini has been playing (who didn’t start either of them 2 games) but sarll is stuck up with his aggressive lads who can’t create anything and then leave our best threat on bench as it’s not the “Anthony Mancini show”
