I'm at #SEGEG2022 (I've been here the whole time - earlier sessions summaries later). For now, I'm bedding in for the functional session. First is Megan Buckley talking about functional classification of nearly all SNVs in the gene VHL using Saturation Genome Editing.

High throughput saturation genome editing allows for testing nearly all possible variants by CRISPRing within cell lines. Effects on cells can then be assayed

And the final talk of the day (I don't tweet Q&A / panel sessions because they tend to be more off the cuff). Professor Jennifer Linden will discuss power and pitfalls of neurobiological research in mouse models for schizophrenia #SEGEG2022

All in all, a great day. I've missed SEGEG. Was wonderful to be a small part of it, and many thanks to KarolineKuchenbäcker and her incredible team for bringing it back in person with aplomb - Diana Dunca, Maria, and Georgina made it all look smooth and easy, when it is anything but.
